MyToonMaker turns your idea into a cartoon. To do that it has to keep some things and send some things to the companies whose models draw and write. This page says exactly which, in plain language.
MyToonMaker is operated by IVANT LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, United States (document number L22000131529). IVANT LLC is the data controller for everything described here, and is contactable at support@mytoonmaker.com. Writing to that address is also how you exercise any of the rights described below.
What we keep
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address | It is your account. Sign-in links and account notices go there. | Until you ask us to delete the account |
| Your stories, scripts and settings | So your work survives closing the browser and appears on your other devices | Until you delete the cartoon, or 60 days without opening it |
| Images and video you generate | They are your cartoon | Same as above |
| A small preview of a style picture you upload | So you can see which picture you chose | Same as above |
| A sign-in cookie | To keep you signed in | 30 days, or until you sign out |
What we deliberately do not keep
Face and outfit reference photos are never stored. When you upload a photo so a character resembles someone, it is held in your browser and sent to the drawing model for that one request. It is not written to our disks, not saved with your project, and not recoverable afterwards — including by us. Reload the page and it is gone.
We do not store passwords, because there are none: you sign in with a link sent to your email, or with Google. There is no password to leak.
We run no advertising, no analytics and no tracking cookies. Nobody is following you around the internet on our behalf.
Who else sees your work
Cartoons are not drawn on our server. To create them, the text and images involved in a request are sent to the companies who run the models:
- Google — draws characters, places, props and scenes, and reads the style of a picture you upload.
- OpenAI — writes and revises the story and the script.
- kie.ai — creates video clips, and draws images when Google is unavailable. This route requires the reference images for a request to be uploaded to kie's file service first, where they are held temporarily.
- Hostinger — hosts the servers and the mailbox that sends your sign-in links.
- Google again, separately, if you choose to sign in with a Google account. In that case Google tells us your email address and name, and nothing else.
Each of these companies handles what it receives under its own terms. We send them only what a request needs, and we do not sell or share your work with anyone else.
Deleting things
You can delete any cartoon from your account at any time; its images and clips go with it. To delete your whole account and everything in it, write to support@mytoonmaker.com and it will be removed.
A cartoon nobody has opened for 60 days is removed automatically, so abandoned work does not sit on our disks forever.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or receive a copy of it. Ask at support@mytoonmaker.com and we will act on it. We will not charge you for asking, and we will not make the service worse for you because you asked.
Children
Children do make cartoons here, and the studio is built for that. The account, however, always belongs to an adult: a parent or guardian registers it, agrees to the terms, supervises what is made, and pays for anything paid. A child creates under that account, not under one of their own. We do not knowingly create accounts for children directly.
This matters for privacy, so it is worth being exact about what that means in practice:
- The only email address we hold is the adult's. We never ask a child for one.
- We ask for no name, age, birthday, school, location or phone number — not from the adult and not from the child.
- There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind, so nothing about a child's use is profiled, sold or shared.
- Photos of faces are never written to our disks, so a picture of a child used as a character reference cannot be recovered afterwards by anyone, including us.
- Cartoons are private to the account. Nothing a child makes is published, shown to other users, or used to train models.
If you are a parent and want to see what is held under your account, have it corrected, or have all of it deleted, write to support@mytoonmaker.com and we will do it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and we will say so on the site. Continuing to use MyToonMaker after that means the new version applies.
